The Goodyear Fire Department conducts two types of inspections:
Occupancy Inspections consist of annual inspections of existing occupancies. These include fire code compliance for low, medium and high risk businesses.
Construction Inspections consist of fire inspections based on approved plans for fire protection systems and features in new construction and tenant improvement construction. A Contractor’s Job Site Guide is available to assist construction contractors with understanding and navigating the review and compliance process for the City of Goodyear. Fire Sprinkler inspections and fire alarm inspections are also conducted during the construction phase.
To schedule an inspection or obtain inspection history, see the brochure on the Automated Interactive Voice Response System.
