Goodyear is very convenient to reach by highway.

The City is located just twenty miles west of Phoenix on Interstate 10, which crosses Arizona between Los Angeles and Tucson, then on to Texas. Watch for exits 124 through 129 off of I-10 to arrive at Goodyear.

Just to the east, Interstate 17 leads north to Flagstaff and Interstate 40, a major cross-country highway. Interstate 8 is also accessible just south of Goodyear allowing travel to San Diego on the west.

The City’s growth to the South and proposed future freeways will assure Goodyear’s role as a transportation hub for the area.

Valley Metro, the regional transportation service, links Goodyear directly to downtown Phoenix, including the light rail system which opens later this year.

Nation-wide bus service by Greyhound is available in Phoenix.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is 25 miles east of Goodyear, offering service to all U.S markets, as well as extensive international service.  Sky Harbor is one of the 10 busiest airports in the United States.

Twenty carriers offer direct flights to over 85 US destinations and four countries, and connections to the entire world.

Airport shuttle buses continuously offer service between the three terminals, the central Rental Car Center and over 8800 parking spaces.

Our own Phoenix Goodyear Airport serves General Aviation flyers, however there is no commercial service. Other nearby General Aviation airports are in Glendale and Deer Valley.

Neither Goodyear nor Phoenix have passenger rail service; however Goodyear does have direct freight service provided by the Union Pacific Railroad.

Amtrak does service Flagstaff, 150 miles to the north, and provides connecting bus service to Phoenix  That route travels from Los Angeles to Chicago.  There is also a station in Maricopa, south of Goodyear, on the southern Amtrak route – San Diego to New Orleans – but it is not conveniently accessible from Goodyear at this time.
