Old-West facades depict Goodyear’s Neighborhoods
More than 4,000 people turned out for the 2008 G.A.I.N.
Event on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Goodyear Community Park. G.A.I.N. stands for Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods and is Arizona’s version of
National Night Out. The goal is to encourage neighbors to meet one another,
strengthen communities and promote safer neighborhoods.
Hand-crafted Old-West facades brought Neighborhood Village together. Volunteers spent months creating these fanciful works of art where
information was shared and smiles exchanged. The participating neighborhoods
were: Canada Village, Canyon Trails 1-4, Oasis at Canyon Trails, Centerra,
Estrella, Estrella Vista, Estrella Vista HOA, Historic Goodyear, Palm Valley 2,
3 & 5, PebbleCreek, Rancho Mirage, Sarival Paseo, North Subdivisions and
Wildflower Ranch.
