The Goodyear Police Department is a professional law enforcement agency taking pride in providing excellent customer service to the community. The Department is committed to community policing, providing many protective and proactive policing programs such as the Prescription Drug Disposal Program, Coffee with a Cop and Citizens’ Academy, contributing to the low crime rate.

The Goodyear Police Department leads our profession with integrity and transparency and embraces the city of Goodyear’s additional core values of empathy, optimism, adaptability, initiative and innovation. We believe in partnering with our community, having open dialogue and being solution orientated. We strive to keep our community informed through our vibrant social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, X and Nextdoor. We proactively address public safety issues with programs and divisions such as the Community Services Unit, School Resource Officers, Homeless Outreach Team and a highly trained K9 Unit. It is our honor to be part of the West Valley and serve the community of Goodyear and its residents.
