Goodyear Vice Mayor appointed to National Executive Board

 

Goodyear, Ariz. (Dec. 11, 2017) – Goodyear Vice Mayor Wally Campbell was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Women in Municipal Government (WIMG), a constituency group of the National League of Cities (NLC).

The WIMG constituency group was formed in 1974 to serve as a forum for communication and networking among women local elected officials and their colleagues within the NLC. It strives to raise awareness about issues of concern to women, and it encourages women to seek public office in their communities.

Vice Mayor Campbell was first elected in 2011 and was reelected in 2013 and 2017. She has served on numerous committees within the city of Goodyear reflecting her passion to develop community connections, attract industry and create jobs.
