The City of Goodyear is considering an application from Wendy Riddell, Berry Riddell LLC, representing the property owner, requesting a rezone for an approximately 10-acre property located at the northwest corner of south Citrus Road and west Broadway Road; the applicant is requesting to rezone the 10-acre property from AU (Agricultural Urban) to C-2 (General Commercial) zoning. The applicant is also requesting a Special Use Permit for the 10-acre property to allow a storage facility on property. The Rezone and Special Use Permit would facilitate the development of a self-storage facility with RV and boat storage. The applicant will be hosting a Neighborhood Meeting to discuss the project proposal.
