Digital Communications Wins Awards at Prestigious Communications Conference

Digital Communications was recognized with three awards at the 3CMA Annual Conference in Orlando, Fla. this week. The City-County Communications & Marketing Association is the nation's premiere network of local government communicators, and the team’s work stood out for its creativity and talent from a pool of nearly 900 entries. 

The team won two top honors Savvy awards for: Sunny the Owl’s Big Adventure Children’s Activity Book as well as the Suns Throwback Video in the category of Most Creativity with Least Dollars Spent. The activity book is distributed to our youngest residents to promote literacy and creativity, and was designed 100% in house. And the Phoenix Suns throwback video served as a powerful way to rally the community as the team faced the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 Western Conference Semifinals. The community was inspired to come together, rally behind their beloved team and cheer them on. 

In addition, the team won a Silver Circle award for an educational video called Andrew Asks: What Does Fleet Do? In this highly-creative video, residents are educated about what the city’s Fleet maintenance team does each day to keep our most important vehicles running.
