The Georgia T. Lord Library is home to a rotating art show year-round and next on tap is "Vision & Sound: An African American Experience." It runs from Jan. 31 through March 26. The program creates an educational experience and environment that broadens the understanding and appreciation of African American art.
In addition to the art show, the Vision & Sound concert featuring live music by The Franchise Band, will take place on Feb. 4 at Goodyear Civic Square Park. The afternoon will be filled with music, artist demonstrations, food trucks and more.
