City Council Subcommittees are made up of City Councilmembers and are appointed by the Mayor. The following are the current City Council Subcommittees:
Audit

The Committee is responsible for recommending to the Council an independent firm of certified public accountants to perform the annual audit of the city. This Subcommittee meets with the City’s selected auditors prior to the annual audit to review and approve the annual audit plan, potentially requesting additional analysis of specific transactions by either the individual auditors or city staff. The Subcommittee also meets with the auditors after the audit has been completed to review the findings and make recommendations to the Council regarding the financial documents.
