Over 200 volunteers from several community groups completed projects that helped the City’s residents and improved its neighborhoods. Volunteers worked together on various projects, including:
- Building 20 beds for 20 kids in Goodyear.
- Yard clean-up and landscaping at the home of a low-income senior Goodyear resident.
- Sorting donations and helping with thrift store activities at Hope’s Closet.
- Cleaning up a Historic Goodyear alley.
- Painting over 150 fire hydrants in Palm Valley Phase 2.
- Restriping parking stall lines at the Ballpark
- Spreading woodchips in the playgrounds of Loma Linda Park, Estrella Vista North and South Parks, Falcon Park, and Goodyear Community Park
- Painting fire lane curbs at Falcon Park, Foothills Community Park and Goodyear Community Park.
