Show off your creativity this holiday season in Goodyear’s Gingerbread House Contest! Entries will be displayed in the Georgia T. Lord Library from Monday, December 4 through Sunday, December 17 for the public to vote for their favorite in each category. Categories include 13 and under, 14 and over, and groups or families. Winners in each category will receive a $50 gift card to Amazon!

Contest Rules:

• Entry form must be submitted by Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
• Gingerbread houses will be delivered to Georgia T. Lord Library on Monday, December 4 between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
• One submission per participant or group
• Base may not exceed 32” x 32” and must be sturdy for transport
• All gingerbread decor must be edible
• Entries must be original creations. Store bought houses or kits are not eligible.
• Children under the age of 10 may seek adult assistance
• Voting will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, and the winners will be awarded Monday, December 18 via email
• Winners in each catagory will be annouced on Goodyear Parks & Recreation social media (Facebook & Instagram)
• Entries must be picked up by Wednesday, December 20; entries not picked up by 8 p.m. will be disposed of
