Goodyear Community Park boasts a number of unique facilities including tennis and basketball courts, a skate park, baseball & softball fields, sand volleyball, a splash pad, and even a dog park; Goodyear Community Park is the place to come and enjoy your family time! You can reserve a ramada for a birthday party or family gathering and even reserve sand volleyball courts for a fun game against friends!

Skate Park

This is a multi-use facility for skateboards, in-line skates and RipSticks and razor-type scooters ONLY.

Bicycles, shoe skates, and street luge-boards are PROHIBITED. No motorized vehicles.

Daily Hours:
Summer Hours (3rd Monday in April through 3rd Monday in October) | 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
Winter Hours (3rd Monday in October through 3rd Monday in April) | 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
*Closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day

Skate Park Rules

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! This skate park is unsupervised. This facility is used by both experienced and inexperienced skaters and riders. Serious injury or death may result from being hit by skate boards, falling or colliding. The City of Goodyear does not assume responsibilities for injuries.
The use of protective equipment including helmet, knee and elbow pads and wrist guards is strongly recommended.
Glass containers are prohibited in the skate areas.
Children under the age of nine (9) must be accompanied by an adult.
Profanity, abusive language, graffiti, tagging, stickers, littering, weapons, fighting, alcohol, drugs and tobacco products are prohibited in the park.
Bikes are prohibited from the skate park.
Motorized vehicles, scooters, nor bikes are not allowed in City parks.
Additional ramps, jumps or obstacles are prohibited in the skate park. Modifications to the skating surface or features are prohibited.
Spectators must watch from the designated viewing areas.
The Skate Park is also closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.The City reserves the right to modify the hours of operation or close this facility for any reason, including normal maintenance and repairs.
Be respectful of other park users, keep music volume down and use provided trash containers and/or recycling containers.
The City reserves the right to modify these rules as necessary to meet changing circumstances.

Splash Pad

Open seasonally from the 3rd Monday in April through 3rd Monday in October. Operating hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Splash Pad Rules

Children under 6 Years Old must be accompanied by an adult or responsible person who is at least 13 years old.
Watch your children at all times. No park attendant will supervise your children. Be considerate of others when using facility.
No cloth diapers. Babies, toddlers and children recently graduated from diapers must wear “swim” pants.
No glass allowed in park.
No drinks, candy, tobacco, popcorn, gum, alcohol or food of any kind shall be permitted within 10’ of the splash pad.
No pets allowed in play areas except for service animals.
No jumping, climbing or hanging from play area features.
No running or rough play.
Area may be slippery when wet.
No skateboards, rollerblades, roller-skates, scooters or bicycles.
No foul language or excessively loud behavior.
Persons with sore or inflamed eyes, colds, nasal or ear discharges, both or other acute or obvious skin or body infections or cuts shall be excluded from the play area.
Observe all safety regulations.
