Goodyear Police Department's prescription drug disposal program provides secure collection and safely disposes of expired, unused or unwanted prescription medicines by incineration.

11 N. 145th Ave. Goodyear. Hours: M-F 8am-5pm. Closed Weekends/Holidays
- Goodyear Public Safety South Station:
10701 S. Estrella Pkwy. Goodyear. Hours: M-F 8am-5pm. Closed Weekends/Holidays
Why Dispose of Medications this way?
- Disposing of medications in trash or down the toilet or sink is an environmental hazard
- Unused medications in the home present a risk: childhood overdose, abuse, addiction
- Anonymous disposal
What Do I Need to Know when Dropping off Medications?
- Remove label or "black out" personal information on RX bottle
- Leave pills in original container or dispose pills directly into the box
- Leave liquid medications sealed in original container
What is Allowed for Disposal?
- All expired, unused, unwanted controlled, non controlled and over the counter medications
- Liquid products, such as cough syrup should remain in sealed in original container
What is Prohibited for Disposal?
- Syringes
- Intravenous Solutions
- Injectables
- Illegal Substances such as Marijuana or Methamphetamine
- Mail and Trash
