The Goodyear Police Department hosts an annual Teen Police Academy for high school students ages 14 to 18 for one week each summer. Class size is limited, so register early!

The Teen Academy provides an inside look at law enforcement and is geared toward teens who have an interest in criminal justice. Training is provided by various members of the Goodyear Police Department; a few topics of instruction include: 

• Crime Scene Processing
• Firearms Safety and Training
• Traffic Enforcement
• SWAT/SAU Demonstrations
• K9 Demonstrations
• Drug Recognition
