This program provides income-eligible households with grants or forgivable loans to repair health and safety hazards, make energy efficiency improvements, or improve accessibility. Funds are limited and applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Who Qualifies?
Homeowners must:
- Live within the incorporated boundaries of the city of Goodyear
- Own the home and live in it as the primary residence
- Have owned the home for at least 1 year
- Be committed to living in the home for at least 3 years
- Be able to provide proof of lawful presence in the United States
- Meet income qualifications. Gross income should not exceed:
1 person household - $57,600 4 person household - $82,250
2 person household - $65,800 5 person household - $88,850
3 person household - $74,050 6 person household - $95,450

The home must have one or more hazardous conditions that threaten the health and safety of the occupants to be eligible.
