Our Mission:

The Goodyear Fire Community Response Program is comprised of a Crisis Response Coordinator and a Firefighter/Paramedic. We strive to serve the community during high-stress incidents. The program provides on-scene crisis response and follow up care to individuals needing on-going support and referrals.

The Community Response Team (CR 181) will automatically dispatch with the Fire department during those incidents of high-stress and acute crisis calls. Police dispatch may also special request CR 181 for calls involving victims of crime needing emotional support, crisis support and stabilization.

Donations

Donations are an essential part of the Community Response Team. Donations are directly given to victims displaced after a fire, domestic violence victims unable to return home because of safety concerns, and victims needing food and shelter.

Donatable items include:

New clothing, sandals, socks and underwear
Hygiene products
Small quantity gift cards to restaurants
Hotel vouchers
Cash donations
