Field Rentals
The city of Goodyear offers a wide selection of fields that can accommodate private family rentals to league practices and tournaments. Field rentals are divided into Organization Allocations and Private Rentals. Fields are available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Private/Personal use is categorized as not a part of a league, team, and organized use, ongoing (more than 6 times a year) and no money or registration is being taking for the use. Rental request with more than 6 requests a year is considered ongoing and will require a certificate of insurance on file with the recreation office and will require user to submit via the allocation process.
- The field allocation process is designed to maximize organization use of available resources in a fair and equitable manner. Each organization that utilizes sports fields on a regular basis must submit required documentation. Organizations are able to request to rent fields quarterly.

Goodyear has fields to accommodate family and personal private gatherings and activities such as a friendly softball or kickball game, or a turkey bowl game for the holidays. Private/Personal use is defined as not a part of a league, team, or organized use, ongoing (more than 6 times a year), there is no money or registration is being taking for the use. Users who request more than 6 times a year is considered on going and will require a certificate of insurance on file with the recreation office and will require user to submit via the allocation process depending on the number of requests.
Rental Guidelines:
- Rental requests must be submitted at least 3-business days in advance, and will be accepted up to 180 days out.
- For weekends, reservations must be completed with payment made no later than 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday prior.
- Once a reservation request is submitted, a rental agreement will be generated and emailed to the customer; payment will be due by the deadline indicated on the rental agreement.
Payments for rental agreements can be made over the phone at 623-882-7525, online through the Recreation Account, or in person at the recreation office at 420 S. Estrella Parkway, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
The city of Goodyear has fields to accommodate team, league organization and tournament use. Between the four community parks there are ten recreation level ballfield and four multipurpose fields. Field allocations take place after internal programming and partnerships.

Please complete the appropriate field allocation application, attach the Certificate of Insurance and Additional Endorsement, and submit via email to rentals@goodyearaz.gov. For multiple teams or divisions, please include the additional team use requests for either ball fields or multi use along with the application.

Once allocations have been finalized a rental agreement for the season use will be generated and sent to the organization, payment is due 1 week prior to the start of the first use listed on the rental agreement. Failure to make payment by deadline will result in canceled use and fields reallocated.

Field Lights
Lights will be scheduled utilizing an automated system and will turn on at the scheduled start time of the reservation. Reservations will include a 10-minute grace period at the conclusion of each reservation for cleanup and to exit safely. Lights will be required as part of the reservation after the following times during the year.

Rentals are required for organized use of practices, games, leagues, camps, tournaments etc. Fields are available on a first come, first serve basis for drop in use when not reserved or prepped for a later game. A reservation is required for lights. Park staff complete all painting and game prep of fields. Bases are placed with each rental. Fields are limited to 2 teams per field.
Falcon Park is located at 15050 W. Indian School Rd. | Park Map
- Field #1 – Adult Softball
- This adult softball field has bases at 60', 70’ and 80’, pitching rubbers at 35’, 40’3”, 43’3” and 50’, there is no outfield fence, and has a dirt infield. There are additional fees for portable pitching mounds.
*For safety purposes, this field will not be scheduled when soccer or football is reserved on the adjoining multipurpose field.
- This adult softball field has bases at 60', 70’ and 80’, pitching rubbers at 35’, 40’3”, 43’3” and 50’, there is no outfield fence, and has a dirt infield. There are additional fees for portable pitching mounds.
- Field #2 (Goldy) – Youth Ballfield
- This youth ball field has bases at 60', pitching rubbers at 35’, 40’3”, 43’3”, a 220' fence line, and has a dirt infield. There are additional fees for portable pitching mounds. This is a premier field and a rental is required for use.

- Field #1 – Youth Baseball Field
- This youth ball field has bases at 60', a 200' fence line, and has a turf infield. Throw down bases are prohibited. The portable pitching mound is included with this field rental.
- Field #2– Youth Baseball Field
- This youth ball field has bases at 60', a 200' fence line, and has a turf infield. Throw down bases are prohibited. The portable pitching mound is included with this field rental.
- Field #3 – Adult Softball Field
- This adult softball field has bases at 60' and 70’, pitching rubbers at 35’, 40’3”, 43’3” and 50’, a 300’ outfield fence, and has a dirt infield. There are additional fees for portable pitching mounds.

- Field #1 – Adult Softball
- This adult softball field has bases at 60' and 70’, pitching rubbers at 35’, 40’3”, 43’3” and 50’, a 300’ outfield fence, and has a dirt infield. There are additional fees for portable pitching mounds.
- Field #2 – Adult Softball
- This adult softball field has bases at 60' and 70’, pitching rubbers at 35’, 40’3”, 43’3” and 50’, a 300’ outfield fence, and has a dirt infield. There are additional fees for portable pitching mounds.
- Field #3 – Youth Baseball
- This youth ball field has bases at 60', a 200' fence line, and has a turf infield. Throw down bases are prohibited. The portable pitching mound is included with this field rental. This is a premier field and a rental is required for use.

- Field #1 – Adult Softball
- This adult softball field has bases at 60' and 70’, pitching rubbers at 35’, 40’3”, 43’3” and 50’, a 325’ outfield fence, and has a dirt infield. There are additional fees for portable pitching mounds.
- Field #2 – Adult Softball
- This adult softball field has bases at 60' and 70’, pitching rubbers at 35’, 40’3”, 43’3” and 50’, a 325’ outfield fence, and has a dirt infield. There are additional fees for portable pitching mounds.
NOTE: Sports fields located in neighborhood parks not appearing on this list are not available for field rentals. Neighborhood parks are intended for the spontaneous use by residents who live in the area of the park and organized practices and games are prohibited.
Rentals are required for organized use of practices, games, leagues, camps, tournaments etc. Fields are available on a first come, first serve basis for drop in use, when field is not reserved or prepped for a later game. A reservation is required for lights. Park staff complete all painting and game prep. All fields are 200’ X 200’, just under an acre. Fields are limited to 4-teams and 2-painted fields per quad. Tents and canopies must be weighted and not staked in the turf. Equipment that will damage turf are prohibited.

This multi-use field is a great location for soccer and football for games or practices.
*For safety purposes, this field will not be scheduled when baseball or softball is reserved on the adjoining field.
*Foothills multipurpose can accommodate an 11v11 painted field @60x100yd and a 9v9 field @ 45x70yd

These multi-purpose fields are great locations for soccer and football games or practice.
- This field will be reserved in 2 separate quads, north 1 and south 1.
- 9 VS 9 (6.5FT X 18FT) and 11 VS 11 (8FT X 24FT) soccer goals are available for rent.

At this park there are 2 collegiate soccer fields, however use will be broken into 4 separate quads; field 1 is furthest west of the park and will be reserved as north 1 and south 1, field 2 is the east field and will be reserved as north 2 and south 2.
- These multi-use fields are great options for soccer and football, games or practices.

Field are closed for maintenance as needed throughout the year. These are typically scheduled to minimize cancelations, impact to programming/community and ensure fields are safe and playable during the seasons of use.

- Use begins and ends at the times stated on the rental agreement which includes setup at the beginning of the rental and clean up. Groups will be allowed on the field at the start time listed on the permit and are required to have the fields clean and be off the fields at the ending time indicated on the permit. Additional fees will be charged for unauthorized or extended field use beyond times listed on the rental agreement.
- The City has exclusive discretion in decisions on scheduling City fields and such decision shall be final.
- Field permits will not be issued for use on blackout dates, where maintenance is scheduled. Park areas and amenities are subject to closure at any time for repair, renovation or maintenance.
- Field rental agreement must be available during use and presented to any City, Designated agent(s) or Police. Check permit for specific times you may access the fields.
- Patrons with a rental agreement have exclusive use during their reservation. Otherwise, field is first-come, first-serve.
- No subleasing of fields is allowed under any circumstance. Subleasing of fields may result in loss of future privileges.
- Climbing on or over fences is prohibited.
- Concession stands are not accessible to reservations. Vending is prohibited, unless a special permit is authorized and listed within the rental agreement.
- All users are responsible for providing their game officials, game balls and other need misc. equipment; portable goals/fences and/or markers are allowed but must be removed daily. No staking into the grass.
- Field may not be modified or resized; this includes bases, pitching mounds, goals etc.
- Only players and coaches in dugouts, no pets or animals on the field or in the dugouts.
- No smoking or vaping in the park to include the dugouts.
- “Soft Toss” and/or hitting against the fence are prohibited.
- Caution, beware of objects leaving the playing field.
- Un-sportsman like conduct, fighting and foul language will not be allowed.
- Failure to follow rules will result in removal from fields and loss of future rental privileges.
- Amplified sound is not allowed on any field without City approval and noted on your permit.
- At the conclusion of games or practice, each user group is responsible for picking up trash and debris and depositing it into the proper trash bins. The field and any adjoining areas affected by a group’s use must be picked up and cleared of all trash.
Inclement Weather
If inclement weather causes a cancellation of a reservation, notice should be given the next business day to the Parks and Recreation Department Office. The reservation permit may be re-issued for an alternate date or the fee may be refunded.
